Police

The Police Station is on the Shopping Centre, Candleby Lane. It is not manned continuously but is used as a local base for operations by the seven officers assigned to Cotgrave.

The 24-hour telephone numbers is 9455999 which will put you through to 'D' Division Headquarters in West Bridgford. There is no direct line to the police station in Cotgrave but West Bridgford will connect you if there is an officer in at that particular time.

Cotgrave Neighbourhood Watch Scheme

Neighbourhood Watch is a national voluntary organisation independent of the police and statutory authorities. Its aims are to reduce crime by raising vigilance and by promoting home security. The Cotgrave scheme has meetings at 7.30pm on the second Tuesday of the month every two months: January, March, May, July, Septmber and November. Meetings generally feature an invited speaker and are held in the Leisure Centre. The local constabulary provide up-to-date reports on local crime statistics.
