THURLBECK

Thurlbeck is a warden aided complex on Edgington Close which provides activities and trips out for its tenants. All outsiders welcome.
We have a Lunch Club every other Wednesday at 12.15pm which you need to pre-book, charge £2.50 for a main course, sweet and cup of tea. All meals are home-made. Lunch is followed by Bingo.

Bingo is every Wednesday at 1.00pm
Bridge Club on Tuesday at 1.30pm
Snooker Monday, Wednesday and Thursday

SPRING MEADOW

Spring Meadow is a sheltered housing scheme just off Ringleas. Everyone is welcome to the activities held there. The regular events are:

Scout Bingo on Tuesday at 7.30pm
Coffee morning on Wednesday 10.30 to 11.30am

There are regular trips and suppers for which reasonable charges are made.

THURSDAY CLUB AT THE WELFARE

Meets on Thursday afternoons from 2.00 to 4.00pm, for friendship and fun. Members bring their friends along. Bingo is the main attraction (20p per card) with a break at 3.00pm for cuppas and biscuits (free). Also jopin in the regular fund-raising events. Raffle with food prizes each week (20p a strip). Two afternoon outings each year. Weekly subscription is 10p. Wheelchair access.
